Ah. This is where we really disagree. I don't care much for the looks 
of the Classic. I don't care much for the curved design of the Macs 
of that era in general.

Personally I avoid getting more monitors. They take up the most space 
and are very heavy. I don't tend to use them much anyway.

I kinda like the LC. It runs system 6 and it can function with the 
fan disabled. Of all LC-models it is the only one I have used 
regularly.
I too wouldn't spend any money on them though.

My favorite vintage Mac by far is the Plus. It is the only vintage 
Mac I use daily. The other ones are collecting dust in the garage 
right now. I might begin using a LC or IIci again in the winter, when 
I start longing for a color screen and tend to play more (vintage) 
games.
