As was documented here by me a long time ago - this is, and always will be, a crap shoot.... I tried 2 different SE/30's (one with soldered CPU, one socketed) as well as various combinations of RAM, and 2 IIsi ROM-SIMMS with NO luck at all as well as some various OS's up to 7.5.5. Usually a boot with screen corruption and then the desktop and then various freezes, crashes, bombs and general unpleasantness.... Jury is still out on 7.6 or higher though... Is worth a try but don't spend much time or $$$ on it.... -ed -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
