ALL of us must have bought those bloody plans ...I guess it's back to
scrounging through dustbins for an Xeed card then. (I got an adapter too, at
least, but I'll still have to cobble together its wiring harness).

As a followup on my WTB an SE30 logicboard with a socketed CPU, I received
two offers from the list (and am taking both of them). Thanks John & Hal! (I
should have asked a year ago!)

It may be of interest to some that Daystar did make an accelerator for the
SE30 that doesn't use the PDS slot, but requires a socketed CPU logicboard.

This Daystar PowerCache (68030/33 with 68882/33) is specifically for the
SE30 [only], and plugs into the [empty] CPU socket (replacing the CPU
entirely), fitting horizontally above (and parallel to) the logicboard
...leaving the PDS slot available for "other" uses.

It's a *whole* lot different then the rest of my "collection" of '030
Daystar accelerator boards & adapters. It's rather a lot like the PPC 601
66MHz adapter that replaces the '040 CPU in the CC Mystic conversion though.

If anyone would like pix of this, I'll take some (once the replacement
logicboard arrives).
