Yo compacters everywhere, To my thread here about formatting drives for our beloved 68000 and '030 compacts with the Apple HD SC Setup 7.3.5 utility or Apple's Drive Setup utility, our Saul Brody <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> responded:
>This might be helpful: <http://www.macfaq.de/macfaqdaten/minifaqs/dspg.html> It is. While it does not talk specifically to our compact 030 Macs, it gives me good direction. If I read this correctly, I am looking for Drive Setup 1.6.1 or possibly just a bit earlier to give me my best chance. I will be trying the HDSC formatter first. But I will be checking this out as I strive to imitate MacOS 9.2 running on an iMac with a Classic II. Each of these little bits holds a piece of my ultimate solution here.
