The LS/300 driver is the correct one for this printer. Please note that this is perhaps the SLOWEST laserwriter made by Apple.
Go back in to your install disk. The LS/300 driver should be there. You may have to find it on the apple website, I am not sure if 6.0.8 came with it. I know when my dad bought his IIsi with the LS in 1990 that the IIsi had OS7 installed on it already.
