Longtime lurker here.
I just finished installing 6.0.8 on my SE/30 (gotta love that 2 second boot time). Now I'm going through Chooser to find the correct printer, but the Personal LaserWriter SC does not work (nor do any of the others).
That is because the personal laserwriter ls driver is not included in the system 6 installer disks. You need to find the driver software. You can find it on the system 7.01 installer disks (the printer disk to be precise). Drop the icon in your system folder and see if it works. The more recent laserwriter 300 is compatible with system 6, so I am pretty sure the ls should also be system 6 compatible. To bad apple does not offer the original installer disks for this printer on their website. Maybe something the mac driver museum should look into.
