Happy new year all. Not sure how it happened but I seem to have ended up with a second Mac ! Odd I am sure that I told myself that one was enough, I do hope this isn't contagious ;-)
A colleague at work has kindly donated a second SE, a bit dirty, HDD dead, floppy reads (and boots) about 50% of the time. I have just taken it apart to set to the cleaning process and discovered a board that I didn't expect plugged into the PDS slot, it also runs to a strange 24(?) pin D style port on the back of the case, looks like a mini centronics port. The board itself is marked: National Instruments ASSY180390-01 REV.D1 S/N 01671. The board is about half the size of the motherboard. One jumper on the board, just says DMA I think, any clues ?
