Hello, new to this list & was hoping someone here might be able to help point me in a direction to where I might be able to get some OS software for a little old Mac. (the 128k Macintosh Model M0001)
I think my 3 &1/2 floppy 400k is bad... I wanted another OS diskette to try out... If it is broken, I'm not sure what to do, I'm not to brave to dive in there & try to fix or replace it, since that old picture tube can hold such a charge!

Leave the mac unplugged or plugged into a earthed socket with the socket switch off for a week or so.
Without starting another thread on how voltage doesn't kill, its the amps I will say it's not hard to work on a classic once you have the back off while staying well clear of the tube, HV cable and HV power supply and caps. My bigest fear would be breaking the tube while removing the case back. Power drains away.
