It may be no problems at all (this is the case of a Plus with a short cable to the hard disk and a single pass-through terminator in the middle of the chain), intermitent problems or a non-working configuration. I haven't heard about a single case of permanent hardware damage due to incorrect termination, but, once again, I'm not an expert. If your drive is damaged, it must be because of the Plus' power supply failure - the drive can have been powered on and connected to the Plus when it broke, right? And if a broken power supply pushes more than 5 V in the SCSI bus for a few miliseconds before dying, it can be enough to damage any device connected to it (think about plugging a 120 V. bulb to a 380 V. socket...). I have seen this to happen in IDE buses. In fact, a misbehaving power supply can damage *any* component of a computer.
