Something I haven't exactly found in the FAQs is which jumpers need to be strapped for
proper operations, or maybe I'm not reading the right ones. I have a few HP OEMed
drives that are giving me fits. They work fine in an external drive case, but when I
put them in the machine, LIDO and HD Setup both report SCSI termination errors.

Here's the strapping:
                      +--+
TP to Bus --> |..| <-- TP from Bus
TP from Drive |..|
Reserved |..|
Parity Disable |..|
Write Protect |..|
Motor Start Enabled |..|
Delay MTR Start |..|
Term Enable |..|
                      +--+
Now, I've set just about every possible combination (I kept track) of strapping the TP
to Bus/TP from Bus and the TE jumpers and cannot get them to work. As I stated above,
I was able to use/format the drive in an external chassis, but no joy when I put it in
any machine.

Help! (and thanks!)

Jack
