You'd need to convert this to an AIFF and a 20 meg drive wont hold one average length song. An AIFF of a 3 minute song is usually 35 MB.

Not likely. MP3 requires a great deal of decompression and typically you
need a 1st generation PPC or higher for decent MP3 playback.
