Watch out that you can't have a PDS IIe card and a CS slot Ethernet
card working in the same Mac.

Like the original Color Classic logic board, the 550 board has only a LC
PDS slot and no comm slot. This makes it a particularly easy upgrade, as
all the ports line up with the original Color Classic back panel. I might
try a spare DaynaPort SCSI/Link external ethernet box or just use
localtalk for networking.

The question is, when you choose "about this mac" or system profiler, what model will it show? 550 or CCII?
