More like holding you off with a Ten Foot Pole, as I recall, Jeff.
Things sure have changed since the last time I was on the LEM lists, about a
year or so.

It seems to be Much more helpful on the Lists' now, and most of the time
people try to give an answer to a problem, instead of running you off to
some other site that you know nothing about in the first place, and If they
are totally new to a Compact, Vintage or any other Mac, then yes, you may
need to hold there hand a bit. Helping some one who knows little or nothing
so they can get that Old Mac up and running was, IS, the idea behind the LEM
Lists' to begin with, is it not?!?

Just my opinion, and like ears most everyone has more than one. Sorry for
the rant Stuart.
