I know it has been said that this thread is now closed, but since I am the one who began it, I am going to make one final comment. I have been silent since the words began to get hot, but I am not the type to just hide while longer-seated list members get into battles over something that I began.
With that being said, I want to apologize for things getting out of hand. I do not want to see any long-time members leave the group over a thread that I started. I've bookmarked the FAQ page, and I will make it a point to always consult it before asking a question of the group. I myself moderate several message groups, and I am the list owner of the Canon T90 Users Yahoo group. One of the cardinal rules of my other groups is to read the FAQ before asking questions that may simply clutter up the board, or revisit tired topics. Questions such as "What does it mean to be in "stopped-down" mode", or "Where can I find a list of qualified technicians for rebuilding the T90's shutter?" are usually the first ones to be shut down and pointed to the FAQ page. Some even go so far as to answer these questions with four letters: "RTFM" Once again, I do not want to see anyone leave because of a thread I started. If the person still wants to leave, that is their decision; I just wanted to make it known that I am sorry for not looking at the FAQ sooner.
