To many questions from 1 poster in the thread, seems obvious that Daniel could use a link to the FAQ's, download the standalone for off line use and grab some info relating to further questions. Would you like me to fly over and walk Daniel through the whole lot or do you think if someone can ask the list for help that the can find their own links in a FAQ?
If the question was "where can I download MpegDec 2.5.3" I'd provide a link.
I dont see you complaining when the answer is:

If your contribution is to say 'try google', then don't bother contributing.

Yes, thats the bit of advice that should have been taken on board last year. The answer was valid, and possibly useful as its the main place for info about mp3's on 68k, while google would be required for the second program.
You seem to see malice where none exists which is quite offensive.
Daniel, if my answer was offensive to you I am sorry, I thought it was a link that would answer 7 of your 8 questions in this part of this thread.
