Subject: SE ethernet & 10/100 router
From: Katzy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I recently bought a SE e-net card from someone on the list (thanks BK).
Still haven't had a chance to install it. I have a10/100 router w/ a few
machines hooked up for file-sharing and DSL-sharing.

Now I'm seeing all these posts about inability for one (some?) of these
cards to connect to a network w/o a (10BaseT?) switch... Am I going to be
disappointed here? I just want to use it for file-sharing-- Getting it
online will be cool but is not essential.

Can anyone elaborate on the the issue?

TIA,
-- Katzy

I don't think it affects all machines, at least based on my experiences. I have a SE/30 and it has worked fine with a Linksys router and now a D-Link router, both of which are 10/100
