I can say on a personal note that it was MoGo that first made me pay real attention to MCTS. Even though it was maybe a transitional program that early on wasn't strong enough yet to beat traditional programs and later got quickly superseded by stronger MCTS variations. And I think MoGo was the first program hat was playable by people on KGS on 9x9, so you could tell it could beat strong (relatively) players on that board-size.
That doesn't mean necessarily that MoGo contributed the most scientifically of course. But these things are extremely hard to measure. I think it's also obvious that CrazyStone has contributed a lot.
