Please, do not be offended, i know my question was very basic, however, you never know. Sometimes, the most basic solutions, are the best, and they do work. Now, if you never get any beep after a RAM upgarde or any change, perhaps somethin is wrong with your bios. Have you tried to install a newer version an see what hapens? I think that whatever you do, whenever you change the hardware configuration of your computer, put a new slot in or take one our, your bios, should see the difference and (beep), aknowledge the change.
