I had checked the system information through the control panel and it
said it was a 1.2 GHz with 256 Mb of ram. It came with XP sp3, with
AVG as an antivirus. It had Norton Antivirus still installed from the
factory, but the subscription was out of date and it would not allow
me to remove the software. It had PhotoImpression 7 (I think) as well
as a few games, nothing high-end like Crysis, more like stuff you
would find on the Wal Mart $5 rack.

I say HAD because I started to get the 'Operating System not found.'
message on start up. I think the slow load times may have been from a
failing hard drive. Is there any way to check and make sure that is
the case? I'd rather not spend the money to get a new hard drive only
to find out it was something else.

Thanks,
--Andrew
