But until stick drives became common, it wasn't always easy
to move stuff between home and work.  I've e-mailed stuff
home, but using a floppy/stick is so much nicer... (try a
regular upload/download of several megabytes on a regular
basis over dial-up).

That's because MS has the formula: # features == quality
They throw in crap no one ever uses and hides it so well
but they can say we have 50-bazillion things MS Word can
do that no one actually uses.
