Two Verizon sales guys were out today selling FIOS. During the conversation, they announced that that analog Cox cable TV was going to go away as of February 2009. I told them that I didn't think this was the case but they insisted that this was so, even though Cox is constantly running commercials to the contrary. They also insisted that I was going to have to get digital conversion boxes for each TV in order to watch Cox cable TV, come Feb 2009.
I have a lot of respect for Verizon and was half considering going with their FIOS, but with this type of sales tactics, they lose credibility in my view. Am I missing something and or am I misinformed?
