I'll second that. I just bought a new HP and it came already maxed out on memory. The MB could ONLY accomodate 8GB and memory is so cheap, that's what came with the machine. Hope it will be enough for a few years<g>.

My wife's laptop came with a 250 GB drive in it.  Also 2 GB RAM.

Last Laptop I bought came with 3 GB ram. (not a net book)
