No USB is stupid.
I have a cable with the iPod dock plug on one end and a USB plug on the other. Why do you think that won't be possible?
Dock isn't portable. Needs to be plugged in. What if I want to use a
flash drive or SD card? Sleek and stylish? Not with a dock and a bunch
of cables.
David Pogue does remind us that first impression isn't the final release
