Let's keep the Pros/Cons list updated as we go...
UNIX Plugin
Pro-It works out of the box.
Pro-When you add/delete/password a user in SME it seamlessly and (almost)
instantaneously adds/deletes/passwords the user in zarafa.
Con-It is not very configurable as you can only pick a range of users/groups
which makes the global address book really messy.

LDAP Plugin
Pro-If I am not mistaken, ldap auth will be the default (and maybe only) auth
method on SME8 (someone please correct me if I am wrong here). If we power
through and get ldap working on 7, then it will be a less troublesome upgrade
to 8.
Con-You must install experimental ldap packages to SME. This is almost a show
stopper for me. I don't think there has been enough testing on the ldap
packages yet.

DB Plugin
Pro-The db plugin can be utilized via templates/actions/events to
add/delete/password users. I have ventured down this road but got stuck at the
password stage and ran out of time.
Pro-I *think* we can do all we need with this method.
Pro-Multi-company support
Con-Multi-company doesn't work as-is with qmail.
Con-This method won't be the easiest.

ALL Methods
Pro-Separate user disc usage and email quotas.
Con-Separate user disc usage and email quotas.
This can be a pro and a con depending on how you look at it. I like it because
if a user uses all their disc space, they can still get email and vice-versa.
The real con is re-working the quota panel to have separate disc quotas and
email quotas for each user.
