LDAP has uses beyond zarafa,
an editable global addressbook may be relevant for zarafa
as a package, zarafa/ldap, it raises the utility of SME just that bit higher
other apps that can use ldap will become more available and useful
It looks stable to me, Shad and Charlie have been working on it for a long time
I wouldn't call it experimental, but their comments would help
according to the pdf whitepaper:
ldap supports companies (unless the problem is qmail)
how SME determines what the companies are or who is in what I don't know
Zarafa users and admins can be set by adding to groups
everyone (or zarafaUsers)
zarafaAdmins
user maintenance is automatic
