Ok, clearly something is screwed in my setup.
I tried a clean SME9 VM and it installed fine, so I'll need to look a little
deeper to see what is wrong.

All are EL6 by the look. The obvious "candidate" is the "letsencrypt" rpm,
which I have been testing with John Crisp.
I need to find out exactly what the error message that your RPM puts out means.
I thought it mean't a missing directory "WebAppVirtualHost" in the
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf/ directory (or the
/etc/e-smith//etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf directory?). But I can see that is not
the case.
