Thank you Stew for making this job to help us! Then some questions. I was trying to install g4/733Mhz with nvidia card. Graphical install did not worked, and I tried text install. Text intall did not offered any other keyboards to choose from than US and Us international, I would have liked to use finnish keyboard. Then when I tried to start linux, the keyboard is so messed up, that I had to reset mac. Only way to start it is with rescue cd. If you want, I can give you root access with ssh. That is if you can help me to get it up properly. There is nothing important isstalled at a moment. only OS 9.2 Finnish, OSX Finnish, and Mandrake 8.2 B with recommended install. If I get response early enough, I can let this computer be open e.g. during weekend. I earlier asked about my cd not working in G4mp/2*450MHZ ati128Rage pro. I downloaded kernel source from cooker and compiled it. After that the cd started to work, it is still installed as scd0, but I think that something was missing from scsi-ide emulation. The cd is IDE. At some point display colours got messed up, and I could not get them back right. I tried to install XFree86 from cooker with urpmi. It seemed to go all right, but at a moment the x wont start. It claims that scrteens exists, but none of them is usable? At some point there were also some other errors. Is there a way to make x to work by making text based install from cooker? I installed newest version of mol, and tried it already with 8.0 and it worked all right. Now with 8.2beta I can not make it to work. There is continuing flow of errors unknown gestalt selector nmrg, dvrf and ofpt? I have the problem that when I have set up the open firmware to boot with bootstrap, I always get error file system map broken, restart when trying to start os9. If I clear parameter ram, the system starts normally. This also happened when using mol to start macos. I can also give access to this computers linux partitions, but macintosh partitions are used for real data. So this access should be when I am with the computer.
