As I wrote on my first message, I know what to install, but I don't know how
to start the installation procedure without boot from the 1st CD. I could
have a minimal floppy root (linux 2.2 and sh) and the hd mounted on a dir
and the cdrom on another. Now my question is: how to start the installation?
Which are the scripts used in the automatic installation? Where I'd find
them on the CD?
I want to try this: I obtained the installation.log file from a minimal
installation from a mdk8.0i586, you know that it is something similar:

getFile <namepackage>
getFile <namepackage>
getFile <namepackage>
getFile <namepackage>
...

My problem are dependencies, so I use the same order to install the
packages. I changed getFile with a rpm -i and change all the package names
with the right PPC name, and I created a little script. By now not time to
test I hope to be lucky.

Roger
