I probably left some messages, so I don't know exactly who wrote me these few lines, anyway I suppose that even if slow it is much more cheaper a remote way than sending an heavy pc... So tell me everything you want and I'll do. > Roger: > I could use even this small bootstrap, or instructions to create one myself. > Would it be possible that you send it/them to me, or put them in a place > where I can download? I would appreciate it. Anyway, it can be a good > starting point for a full-fledged boot-and-install process. there is a FAQ on www.linuxppc.org to mount linux2000Q4 PPC on a RS/6000 7248 mod 120 is a little complicated but not so much. You have to download two disk images a cd iso image and follow the detailed instructions from the FAQ that's all. It's possible to install only the base package than you'll have a minimal working linux system on RS/6000, you could boot from floppy. I'm here, waiting news. Roger
