Keyboard selection is only in expert install. Other than your keyboard
being mismapped, startup is OK? You can fix from rescue:

Boot rescue
mount your installation on /mnt/disk
chroot /mnt/disk

Now you are in your installed system, like you booted it.

For fixing the keyboard as you want it, I'm going to refer you to the nice
doc Sylvain put together:

http://www.mandrake.com/en/archives/cooker-ppc/2002-02/msg00092.php

After you're done:

exit
umount /mnt/disk
reboot

This is a different machine? If the CD problem is fixed in the newer
kernel, I'm not going to worry about it too much, as the kernel has been
rev'd several times since beta1. Did you change anything in the default
config? I've been told X in cooker doesn't work on rage128 now. You
could uninstall that version an re-install the one from the beta1 CD. You
don't need to reinstall just to change X versions.

I've seen similar issues on the MOL list, but haven't seen an answer.
I've seen some other folks using MOL, so maybe it's an issue with nvidia,
like X. The file system map broken is new to me.

I have no need to touch any MacOS partitions. The 2 OS's have no overlap.
It sounds like your system is basically working aside from the keyboard
issues. I can't really do much to debug X issues over ssh.
