I know what group policy is for. I don't say it was bad. I just say that
it is usefull only for workstation/server and not for desktop. So in
order not to bloat too much msec/urpmi, you may have to sprovide a
special version of this tools with LDAP support.
It's silly to have have desktop PC installed with LDAP auth/....

ok, so if urpmi/msec don't become too bloated, no problem at all for me.
But if they are bloat and can be harder to fix when there are bugs ...
