If your only reason to ask for mc is to have an OFM, this bug is invalid.
Konqueror->Settings->Load View Profile->Midnight Commander (konqueror is
installed by default ...). If you have a better reason why mc should be
installed by default, you can change it back from invalid.
Remember that 80% of current users probably don't even remember DOS and nc, so
installing mc is a waste of space for 80% of the target market.

Every OS should have an OFM installed by default. On Linux, mc is the
preeminent OFM. Without an OFM, I find another OS that has one. It shouldn't be
necessary to go through individual package selection just for this one important
package.
