On my own cooker box with my own account and one testing account I have never seen this. We use LDAP all over, with homes on NFS. I haven't see the "could not get user name from user id" error before. Both our cooker boxes run local slaves (though it should not makea difference?). I have tried the following without resolving the problem: * emptied /tmp * removed ~/Desktop (which was recreated of course) * removed .kde (which was also recreated) This is my first bug report (!! I'm so ashamed!!), so please let me know if I am doing this wrong. I will read the documentation when I have time.
