------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED]  2003-18-09 13:57 -------
The bug still occur this the cooker from 18 sept 2003.
Install cooker from network, with ftp.
Use an IP for the computer without reverse DNS.
install a minimal system.
don't try to configure network at end, as it should be already configured.
reboot.
on next reboot, eth0 doesn't have an IP.
And yes, in the ifcfg-eth0 file in /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ I have
ONBOOT=YES

If you want, I can provide a full access to the computer.

description:
During install I didn't configure my network. (didn't scroll the resume box).
the default is dhcp(/zeroconf?).
I ran drakconnect (the first time in drakconf, the second time alone), to
configure it. I entered all my parameters: fixed IP, etc, etc.... The ending
box said all is okay, but not.
the driver for the card is loaded. but no ip is assigned to interface.
Seems that the files /etc/sysconfig/network and
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 aren't written with the new values.
