IMHO, there is very little need for this as every installation media allows the rescue boot.


Other than if you have multiple versions of mandrake installed on the same system, the rescue seems to pick the wrong one.

Though for an install that will really screw your system up. Try RH AS3. That was not good. It decided to play with partition tables and no even give you a shot at boot loader selection.
