The implementation of Dnd in KDE 1 was KDE-specific, since at that time
there was no standard for Dnd. It's been ditched, and KDE (Qt) now
use the XDND protocol, compatible with gnome and other X apps.
Just wait until you can delete all KDE 1 apps :-)
