ok, now can you tell me:

- what do you have on hda's MBR, lilo/grub/system commander?
  or even better send me the MBR of hda (dd if=hda of=/tmp/mbr count=1)
- your partition table?

so that i can reproduce and fix (from what your're saying this bug was already
there in mdk7.0 ?!)
