I didn't. I tried a few of the patches and none worked (most locked up *before*
the ``dmesg''es, so I got a vanilla kernel, added the Reiser patches (the
machine was all Reiser) and went with that. For this application, had I time, I
would have added supermount and Solar's patches. Anyway, it works fine as is.
