IIRC, they are similar to the kernel hooks already added to support VMware,
so there _should_ be no ideological issues here.

According to the feedback I got from Trelos (now Netraverse), the Mandrake
folks just don't want to consider it. If true, that's unfortunate.

I would ask that they re-consider. I am very impressed with 7.2's ability to
install, detect hardware and implement a slick desktop suitable for a
business workstation. Clearly one of the leaders in the field. The inclusion
of Win4Lin support would only make the distro more desireable.
