When I look in /usr/lib/rpm/macros, all I find is: %_arch i386 %_build_arch i386
When I change these to i686 on my Athlon, I still get packages sent to i386 but built with -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 flags. What do I need to change, please? >From: Bryan Paxton <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: cooker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: [Cooker] Wrong arch builds on Athlon >Date: 27 Feb 2002 18:36:19 -0600 > > >On Wed, 2002-02-27 at 11:59, Charles A Edwards wrote: > > rpmrebuilds on an Athlon (650mhz) using any kernel source are being done >as i386 and Not as the proper i686. > > > > See also thread '[Cooker] 2.4.17.22 - Install report' > >I was also going to report this, but for i686 though.
