No, I did a cd install too (RC3)... 

btw, "floppy"... somewhere I recognize the word, but perhaps you could
describe what it exactly meant... ;-)

Did you mean a net install? I did a cd-install (if I have to choose 
between finding a working floppy, and writing a CD, I will write a CD
;-)).
