The sound volume produced by KMid is zero and that is not affected by either the KMid volume control or the KMix or aumix PCM volume controls (these latter two are coupled) or any other mixer channel volume control.The upside:Now KMid works, animated channels display and all!ALSA does midi.The downside:I do not know what you mean with sound from kmix's pcm channel? You mean pcm does not do the volume of midi sound?
BUT no sound comes out of KMix's PCM channel <sob>, no matter which of the four installed MIDI maps I choose, including 'none'.
