:) If you do it like that... a couple of things would be nice: a) Make the cooker mailing list filter out messages that are CC'ed to a bug mailing list. Right now we're getting some duplicates because of these CC'ed messages. b) Make the bug mailing list closed, i.e. only bugzilla can post to it. This encourages/forces users to post things related to the bugs back to bugzilla. Possibly have an autoreply for anyone that tries to send to the bug list telling them to post their bug/comment via Bugzilla with instructions on how to do so. You have to keep the bug list closed because if you don't then people will have to subscribe to the bugs list just to be sure not to miss some comment on the bug they are watching. Which defeats the whole point of splitting things up, making it so people only have to get the things they are really interested in. c) Disallow bug reports on the cooker list. If we allow people to post bug reports on this list then we're back where we were before. People end up having to search the mailing list archives to see if the problem has come up before... Anytime someone posts a bug report on here our refrain should be "Please post all bug reports to Bugzilla." d) Finally update the documentation explaining where to post bugs to be correct. If you don't do that then nobody is going to understand what they should be doing and it will be chaos. -- Ben Reser <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://ben.reser.org "If you're not making any mistakes, you're flat out not trying hard enough." - Jim Nichols
