yes ofcourse, I hope it was clear it was *not* an attack on these people. I 
was merely stating that I think it is counterproductive. And I tried to come

Ok, so you are basically saying that everybody should be responsive. Well, 
perhaps restate that policy next meeting:) Also note that this statement does 
not say anything about the proposed remedy.

true enough.
But, perhaps some people will be more suitable for replying to emails than for 
writing patches. Certainly considering the volume of this list.

But, what I would have liked more is that you provided an alternative 
solution. Because you do not dispute that a (small) problem exists. And there 
is some truth in your critic, however, without alternative solution, why not 
try it. Than again, perhaps you will do something internally, and do not want 
it on the list. That is also ok.
