if you use a formen or a Hamilton beach grill it pushes for you and takes
the grease out of them. I know that a lot of frozen burgers are so greasy
that you want to push it a little to get the grease out or else your bun
will be soggy.

When I cook burgers I cook them on high pressing the burgers a little just
to remove some of the grease. when I do it on the barbecue I cook them until
they are not dripping anymore. After all you usually have a beer or coke
with your burgers and other food on top of it plus sautéed onions, and other
things to go on top so it tastes really good. MMMM.

I usually do it the same way, and the water helps in cooking them! Do not
press down on them with spatula, as you will lose all the uices, and they
will be dry! Only turn once.
Sandy
Hope this helps.
