No, it doesn't, and it just somehow vanishes, and I think the steaming helps
it cook quicker; my kids used to love them fixed that way.

I usually do it the same way, and the water helps in cooking them! Do
not
press down on them with spatula, as you will lose all the uices, and
they
will be dry! Only turn once.
