This is the latest on the candy thermometer the students are making. They are starting with a talking thermometer, voltage meter and current meter costing a couple hundred dollars and used in an engineering lab. They haven't decided on one probe or two, or whether or not it will go into the oven, or just be for meat, and you put it in the meat every once in awhile. It reads from air temperature through 300 celcius. But in Farenheight. I beged them to make more, but I don't know if they will. I did say that I was sure Dale would carry them if they were made. There is a clip that clips on the pan for candy. There is a button that switches between voltage, current, and temperature, but they've taken off the voltage and current probes or things they use to measure those.
