Howdy Everyone,
We will get this problem straightened out.

I have been reading through all posts and I am amazed at how many members just seem to blow off the guidelines for this list. I have seen forwards without the headers removed... Many of you post meaningless posts saying some crazy statement that does not need to be said.

I will be cleaning house.
We should not even need a moderator if list members would follow the guidelines.
Dennis and Steve have a huge job keeping everyone in line.

This list ended up causing Helen to quit her position as moderator because she got tired of telling everyone over and over again to follow the guidelines.
Dennis and Steve have done a hell of a job dealing with everyone.
I applaud them for their work.
I will be moderating the list and as many of you know, I have a no nonsense policy. The guidelines are in place to keep this list operating smoothly...no one is above them and more important than the list as a whole. I won't be writing you off list or on list as Steve and Dennis do...I will just remove you. I am tired of the lack of respect for the list, its guidelines, other members on the list, and to the management of the list. Things were going pretty smoothly before Tonya got on the list. She was removed once and promised to follow the guidelines but it is obvious hat this has not happened. To those that wrote on list about moving to another list, that is unacceptable too.
A member finally informed me about the problem and it is solved.
Thank you for being a part of Cooking in the Dark, but if you want to go to another list, don't let the door hit you in the ass. I am still very angry about all this and the conduct of some of the list members.

I suggest that some of you follow the guidelines because I will be moderating the list along with Steve and Dennis.

Have a Mice Day,

Katie,

I will use whatever I have here, and I think that's either going to be orange or cherry.

Thanks.

I'm already salivating, and I haven't even made it!

Claudia,

I have made this using Cherry or Strawberry Jell-O the same way, and, when it sets, You may taste the cottage cheese, eating it a little. But not a whole lot. It is Yummy. It is good , and a good summer time dish to have. I have never use Lime Jell-O but I don't see why not. I would think either would taste good. I just like cherry Jell-O. Also, I have doubled it and took it to Church pot luck dinners. smile.

  Katie

I can't do it never yet accomplished anything.
I will try has accomplished wonders

Hi,

I'm thinking about making this, but here are my questions.
Cottage cheese is usually lumpy, so wn't this stay lumpy as well?
Also, could this recipe be doubled, for a larger crowd?

Won't the cottage cheese be visible, to people eating this salad?
Thanks.

Creamy Lime Jell-O Salad

1 package (4 serving size) Lime Jell-O (or any flavor
-- you would like)
8 ounce carton Cool-Whip
16 ounce can crushed pineapple
1 pint cottage cheese
2 cups mini marshmallows

Put Cool-Whip in a bowl. Sprinkle dry Jell-O over the top. Stir gently until all the Jell-O is dissolved.
Drain pineapple and stir into the Jell-O mixture.
Stir in cottage cheese and marshmallows.
Chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
