2 medium POTATOES, DICED AND COOKED TENDER

SAUTE 1 ONION IN 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER. TAKE ONIONS OUT AND PLACE IN

SMALL BOWL.

ADD 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR, SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE, TO PAN IN WHICH 

ONIONS WERE SAUTED.

ADD 3 CUPS MILK AND POTATO WATER TO RUE. THIS SHOULD BE THIN BECAUSE 

IT WILL THICKEN AS IT COOLS. ADD MORE MILK OR WATER TO MAKE DESIRED

CONSISTENCE. ADD POTATOES TO SOUP.

SPREAD GRATED CHEESE OVER HOT SOUP IN BOWLS. EAT AND ENJOY!
