Hi Randy,
First, welcome to the list. It's great to have you here. i'm also from Texas, I'm from Nacogdoches.

As to your bacon question, when I cook bacon in the microwave, I put several paper towels on a plate and I line the bacon up in a row on the plate depending on how much of a serving I want. Then I put another paper towel on top of the bacon and cook the bacon one minute per slice. Since I like my bacon less crispy, I cook it a little bit less tahn a minute per slice, for example, if I'm cooking four slices of bacon, I might only cook it for three minutes or three and a half minutes and it comes out like I like it. If you want your bacon crisp then I'd suggest cooking it for the full minute per slice, but that's just my opinion. Also remember that every microwave is different and yours may cook faster than mine, so you can adjust the cooking time to suit your microwave. Good luck and happy cooking!

Brittany

Subject: [CnD] Cooking bacon in the microwave

Gang, Randy here. My first question.
I'd like to know how to cook bacon in the microwave?
I want it nice and crispy but microwave as we know tends to be a bit dry.
How can i make it taste like it came off the pan but without all that grease?
Randy who loves bacon!
